Hi, I'm Julie!
I am so glad you’ve landed here.
Together, we will navigate the ups and downs of life, unraveling the tangled web of emotions that often weigh you down. Whether you're battling anxiety that keeps you up at night or struggling with the heavy weight of depression, I am here to offer a safe haven where you can express yourself freely.
In our sessions, we can explore the root causes of your disordered eating patterns and body image struggles. I understand the pain and frustration that comes with feeling disconnected from your own body, and I am committed to helping you rebuild a healthy relationship with yourself. Together, we will challenge societal norms and redefine beauty on your own terms.
As a highly sensitive person myself, I know firsthand the challenges of navigating a world that often feels overwhelming. I understand the depth of your emotions and the constant battle to be understood. With empathy and compassion, I will guide you towards self-acceptance and help you embrace your unique gifts as a "feeler."
Life can be incredibly tough, and it's easy to feel like you're drowning in the pressure to appear perfect. But here, in this space, you can let go of the facade and be authentically you. I see your pain, your struggles, and your strength. You are not alone in this journey.
Together, we will uncover the tools and strategies that will empower you to create a life worth living. We will work towards finding happiness, self-love, and a deep understanding of yourself. You deserve to live a life that brings you joy and fulfillment, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
So take a deep breath, my friend, and know that you are taking a courageous step. Let's embark on this transformative journey together, where you will discover the gold within yourself and shine brighter than ever before.

A bit more about my background:
I began working when I was eight years old as a model in the fashion industry. Working in the industry for ten years provided me with unique insights into the challenges faced by women and the pressures of unattainable standards. This experience sparked my passion for working with individuals struggling with body image issues and disordered eating.
In 2016, I created "You Are Immeasurably More," a platform dedicated to supporting teens and women in healing their relationship with their bodies through workshops, camps, classes, and speaking engagements.
I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Southern California. I have extensive experience working with teens and adults with eating disorders through my time working as a therapist at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient level and in private practice.
I am a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) and now focus my work on teens and women struggling with anxiety, depression, body image and disordered eating.
My goal is to provide you with the highest level of care and support as we navigate your unique journey towards healing and personal growth.

My Therapeutic Approach:
Person-Centered: I tailor my therapy to meet the unique needs and goals of each person I work with understanding no two people are the same.
Humanistic: I recognize the importance of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness in the therapeutic relationship to create a safe environment to heal.
Trauma-informed: Past experiences have an impact on your present well-being. I am trained to provide support understanding how trauma impacts the therapeutic process.
Health at Every Size (HAES): I believe that all bodies are worthy of respect and care, regardless of their size or shape. Beyond just the HAES approach, I also believe all people have inherent worth and value regardless of color, ability, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and age.
